Zumayyah Ibrahim

Zumayyah Ibrahim, 7, of Lubbock, TX passed away, Monday, August 21st, 2023. Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, October 18th, 2023, at 11 a.m. at the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. She was born on May 30th, 2016, in Ohio to LaCandria Ibrahim. They moved to Lubbock, TX in November 2020. This was a beautiful life taken too soon. Zumayyah was a happy, out-going, fun-loving, carefree little girl. Zumayyah loved her family, spending time with them and going on outings. She was her papa’s princess. She loved to crawl in his lap to watch cartoons and hated to leave him. Zumayyah met papa, she told him, “I found you papa” and made him a special song. She loved unicorns, dancing, singing, playing beauty shop, and being a doctor. You will be greatly missed. Nothing can fill the void left in our hearts. We love you so much.
Zumayyah is preceded in death by her grandmother, Dianne Brown, great grandfather, Charles Green, Sr.; and an uncle, Charles Green, Jr. Zumayyah leaves to cherish her memory, her mom, LaCandria Ibrahim; her brother, Zylin Ibrahim; her papa and gigi Randy and Shannon Green; great grandmother, Rosie Green; aunt and uncle, Sharon and Donnie Bailey; uncles, Zorion Green and Jeremiah Green; cousin, Shaquonder Cephus; a host of other relatives and friends.
