Yolanda "Yogi" Price

Yolanda Price "Yogi", 55, departed this life on Sunday, June 25th, 2023. Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, July 25th,, 2023, at 10 a.m. at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. Private Disposition under the direction of Griffin Mortuary.  Yolanda Price, a vibrant and beloved member of the Lubbock Community, passed away peacefully on June 25th, 2023, at the age of fifty-five. Yolanda was born on May 30th, 1968, in Lubbock, Texas to the late Walter and Robbie Price. She grew up in Lubbock and attended Dunbar High School, graduating with the Class of 1986. Throughout the years Yolanda held various positions that allowed her to touch the lives of many. She worked at Steno Call, Durham Transportation and Mila’s Daycare, where she was known for her dedication and passion. Yolanda, infectious positivity and sense of humor made her a cherished presence in the lives of those around her. Yolanda is preceded in death by her mother Robbie Roberts Lee, her father Walter Lee Price, grandfather the late Pastor S. R. Roberts, grandmother Janie Mae Roberts, grandfather James Otis Price, Sr., grandmother Janie Pearl Price, aunt Bobbie Roberts Tobe and sister Shaletta Givens. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sister Cheryl Price. Stepsister Clara Johnson Owens, step brothers Denzil Jackson and Henry Jackson, Jr. nephews, Antwoin Parsons and Rickey Givens; nieces Ambreshia (Amber) King and Harmony Givens; great nieces Jael King, Aprille Parsons, and Angelina Montez; aunts, Betty Price Deary (Richard), Barbara Price White (Clarence), Linda Price, Debra Price, Dorista Price Tates (Eddie), Donna Price English (Dennis), and Patrice Price; special cousin Sheniqua Tobe; a host of other relatives and friends.
