Willie Lee Phergson, "Baby Willie", 42, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023. Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, January 26, 2023, at 2 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church, Brownfield, TX. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Willie Lee Phergson was born on April 28, 1980, to Rose Waitman and Willie Nolan in Brownfield, TX. He graduated from Brownfield High School in 2000. Willie was gifted 3 handsome boys and two special stepdaughters. Baby Willie loved to dance around and eat his sweets. There was literally never a moment when he wasn’t smiling and playing. He is preceded in death by his father, Willie Nolan; grandmothers Nell Phergson and Pankie Nolan; niece, Nakasha “King” Nolan; special aunts, “Tootie”, Eva Mae, Mary Ann, and Betty Sue; uncles, Charles and Willie Earl.He leaves to cherish his memory; his mother, Rose (Tim) Waitman; three sons, Jeremiah Phergson, Devin Phergson, and Cameron Phergson; two daughters, Stella Man and Chree; big brother, Isaac (Misty) Nolan; big sister, Pankie (Robert) Fuller and baby sister, Chanelle Waitman; aunts, Willie B, Blu, Altavia, Carvie, Frances, Margie, Glenda, and LaShell; one great aunt, Bert; uncles, Labon, Roger “Bo”, James, Jerry and Larry Nolan; 6 nieces, Tramiesha, Jaquita, Aaliyah, Bre’Anna, Ky’Asia, and Hessa; 5 great nieces, Jasmine, Zabnya, Zakasha, Qua’Varyiah, and Za’Nya; 1 nephew, Isaiah; 3 great nephews, Zayden, A’Javien, and Kiantae; a host of other relatives and friends.
