Willie Viola Brantley

Willie Viola Brantley, 80, departed this life on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024 at 1pm at Hope Deliverance Temple. Interment will follow at the City of Lubbock under the directions of Griffin Mortuary. Visitations will be held Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Griffin Mortuary from 4pm to 6pm. 

Willie Viola Brantley was born on May 28, 1944 to Willie and Viola Brantley. She attended Spur ISD. She graduated from Spur High School. She was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and aunty. She was the backbone for all the family. She loved to cook, gamble, and most of all take care of her family, especially her 7 grandchildren. She was dearly loved by many and will truly be missed.

Willie is preceded in death by her parents Willie and Viola Brantley, her brothers Bobby Brantley, Johnny Wllie Brantley, and Jessie Earl Brantley, her great-grandchildren Ryan Brantley, Meshaundre Mylik Brantley, and Amber Brantley.

Willie leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter Amber Lene Brantley, her sisters Savannah Rivers Brantley, Annie Lee Williams, Rosie Marie Brantley, Bernice Dumber Brantley, and Mary Magalene Brantley, 7 grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
