Walter and beloved wife, Frances Marie White in the early 50’s. They gave birth to 7 children, Walter, Jr., Cathy, Danny, glenda, James, Sandra, and Yvonne. Walter took his first job at Reese Airforce Base through the accompanying help of General D. Ward, uncle-in-law. He worked there for several years. He moved on to Bozeman Machinery, Johnny Walker Auto Shop, and from there his entrepreneurs spirit moved him to Petroleum-Conoco Station and Garage, he worked closely with Bob Miller Auto Parts and finally Walter’s Automotive was established. Now stands in the hands of his son, James. The heart of everything with Walter L. White was sterned and/or led by wisdom, guidance, vision, strong beliefs, and the mindset to achieve. These were the principles not only for himself and his beloved family, but ultimately for everyone in his life circle to become successful. When Walter Automotive was founded, Walter employed the best people for the job. He was no respect of persons. He hired staff that he had to learn sign language, staff to where he was a father figure and trained everything he knew and to become the best and they did. Outside of family first, Walter Automotive, Walter L. White, was very active in bowling league weekly, race cars-masterpiece, building drag racing, CB Radio (109) and these life hobbies took him to many places, conventions and even talked to people from across the water.. In all this life and business, he never forgot to spend time with his family in other cities, Waco, Georgia, Houston, etc.. These trips were made often. His siblings call him “Buddy”. His nephews and nieces called him, “Uncle Buddy.” Everywhere he went he brought joy and was always grateful. Now Walter L. White life on this earth is over and his presence is no longer here, but memories never fade.. Walter L. White leaves this earth to be remembered by his sister, Evelyn Long; his five children, Cathy, Glenda, James, Sandra, and Yvonne; 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, co-workers, friends, and in-laws. “God Bless You All”
