Ty'Tianna J. Weatherspoon

Ty’Tianna J. Weatherspoon, 17 of Lubbock, departed this life on Sunday, May 28, 2023. Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, June 10, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Agape Temple C.O.G.I.C. Private Disposition under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Ty ‘Tianna J. Weatherspoon was born April 20, 2006, in Dallas, Texas to La’Quinta A. Weatherspoon of Lubbock, Texas and Maurice Stewart of Dallas, Texas raised in Kansas City. Ty’Ti moved to Lubbock at the age of 7 with her parents; she attended Joan Y. Ervin Elementary School, Hutchins Jr. High, and Estacado High School.    Her dream was to become a veterinarian.  She had a special love for animals. She loved taking photos and drawing. In 2022 she gave birth to a beautiful blue eyed little boy, and he became her pride and joy. Ty’Ti was a strong-willed child and was not easily influenced. When she had her mind set toward something she got it done.  She had a special bond with Ciniya and they were more like sisters than cousins.  The bond she shared with her mother was indescribable.  The love she had for her dad was unmatched.  She was a loving person. Ty ’Tianna is preceded in death by two siblings Jeremiah and Niccolio Weatherspoon, her great grandparents, grandfather Timothy Weatherspoon and a special cousin Mya Pruitt. She leaves to cherish her memories, her mother, La’Quinta Weatherspoon, father Maurice Stewart, her son Hy’Keem Lamonte Weatherspoon, 2 sisters, Kristianna Essix of Dallas, Tx.  Ke’Brianna Weatherspoon of Lubbock, Tx. 1 brother, Isaiah (Lady) Weatherspoon of Dallas, Tx. Her grandmother Norma Phenix, pawpaw; Burns Phenix, grandmother Linda Shields, grandfather, Michael Pruitt (Cherrie). Three special cousins Tyra Mooring, Dajaha Bonner of Dallas, Tx. Ciniya Weatherspoon, of Lubbock, Tx.  Amia Perkins of Denver Colorado; a host of aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
