Tommy Lee Johnson, 59 of Lubbock, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. Celebration of life will be held Thursday, February 1, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitations will be held Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at Griffin Mortuary from 4 to 6 p.m. Tommy Lee Johnson was the 15th child born to the late Frank and Earlene Johnson in Lubbock, Texas September 6, 1964. He was raised in Abernathy, Texas spending his early years of schooling there before coming to Lubbock to attend McKenzie Middle School and graduated from New Life Academy. He went on to work at Rainbow Bakery where his adventurous life drew him to see as much of the country as possible, spending years in California, even coming  back to Texas and settling in New Mexico until his homegoing. He is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Earlene Johnson, three sisters, and four brothers. He is survived by his daughter Brooklyn of Kerrville, TX, four sons Jonathan, Nathaniel, and Jerimiah all of San Antonio, TX, Bradley of California, five brothers J. D., James, and Curtis all of Lubbock, TX, Rodney and Bobby both of Clovis, NM, four sisters Billie Cooper of Lewisville, TX, Brenda of Denton, TX, Ollie Smith and Melody Williams both of Lubbock, TX, a host of other relatives and friends.
