Thomas E. Ward, III

Thomas E. Ward, III, 69, passed away on Monday, March 31st, 2025. Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at 11 am at Griffin Mortuary Chapel. Interment will follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitations will be held Monday, April 7th, 2025, from 4 pm to 6pm at Griffin Mortuary.

Thomas Ward, III was born September 8th, 1955 in Phoenix, AZ to Margaret Locklin and Thomas Ward, Jr. Graduated from Estacado High School in 1974. Joined the Marines left with an honorable discharge in 1975, Thomas met Audrey Ann in 1974, later to give birth to a daughter and a son. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, playing dominos, and watching the Dallas Cowboys. He went on to drive trucks for several years.

He is preceded in death by his mother Margaret Locklin, his sister Elaine Davis, his brother Phillip Morris, and his cousin Charlene Davis.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Audrey Hodge, one daughter Monica hodge (Shawn M.), his son Jason Ward (Gloria M.), his sister Donna Morris, his grandchildren Jeremy Adams, Jr. and Zachian Ward, his great grandchild Michael Adams, his nieces Secilia Davis, Allretta Williams, and Alicia Robinson, his nephews Clyde Davis, and Maurice, a host of other relatives and friends.
