Teresa Yearwood

Teresa Yearwood, 71, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, TX.

Teresa was born April 6, 1953, in Snyder, Texas to the late Emmitt and Mary Hall. She was the oldest of two sisters. Teresa was raised in Snyder and graduated from Snyder High School in 1971. After graduation she attended Westen Texas College and Angelo State University.

Teresa married Hampton Yearwood in 1974. Hamp and Teresa initially lived in Lubbock and Houston while Hamp completed Pharmacy school before making their permanent home back in Snyder.

Teresa loved to sew and enjoyed making blankets for family and friends. She also made and donated blankets to the local animal shelter for newborn cats and dogs. Teresa loved flowers which she routinely posted on Facebook to help make the world a brighter place.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband Hampton of 50 years and son Wade of Snyder. Survivors include sister and brother-in-law Tina and Tracy Long of Fulshear, brother-in-law David and wife Debbie Yearwood of Lubbock and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
