Shirley Ann Elliott, 77, passed away on Monday, December 23, 2024. Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at 1 pm at Lone Star Cowboy Church. Private Disposition under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Shirley Elliott was born on December 15, 1947, in Hugo Oklahoma to Cleo and Annie Kelson. They moved to Lubbock 2 ½ years later.

She married Gary Elliott on December 17, 1966, they had two girls. Gary passed on January 9, 1981, which was very hard on our family, then she started working at WalMart and Sam’s. She learned how to drive after my dad passed.

She is preceded in death by her parents Ann Kelson and Cleo Kelson, her brother Toby Kelso, and husband Gary Elliott.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters Sherry Motsenbocker and Kimberly Youngblood, her son Timothy York, her sister Mary Melton, her grandchildren Colton Youngblood, Nicole Boye, ricky Motsenbocker, Rayanna Graham, Sean Motsenbocker, and Skylar Motsenbocker, her great grandchildren Roxy, Gabriel, Kiera Graham, Alyssa Adam, Adian Motsenbocker, and Cheyenne Varnell, nephews Steve Melton, David Todd Melton, Christopher Kelso, and Kevin Kelson, and a host of other relatives and friends.
