Rose Mary Mejia

Rose Mary Mejia, 32, departed this life on Saturday, August 10, 2024. Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, September 20, 2024 at 11am at Griffin Mortuary Chapel. Private Disposition under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. The book of the precious Rose began November 14, 1991 when she was born to Mario Mejia and Lisa Torres in Lubbock Texas. Rose Mejia was the mother of 3 loving children, 2 girls, Tiara Doss, Ciara Sanchez and 1 son Jeremiah Patterson. Rose loved being a mother and she did all that she could to be a good and loving mother. Rose attended Lubbock Public Schools and she worked for Church’s Chicken, McDonalds, Lakeside Nursing and Rehab and Texas Tech. 

 Rose is preceded in death by her mother Lisa Castillo, maternal grandparents Ellurerio Torres and Irema Villareal, her paternal grandparents Maros Mario Mejia and Erminia Mejia.

 Rose leave to mourn her passing is her three children Tiara Doss (Vic Jr), Ciara Sanchez (Jaime) and Jeremiah Patterson (Lester III), Her father Mario Mejia, 4 sisters Miranda Gonzalez, Annabelle Castillo, Dominique Castillo and Desirae Mejia, 2 brothers Mario Torres and Marcos Mejia, 2 other parents Lester and Sandra Patterson, nephews, nieces and a host of friends and a block full of kids she loved. Rose was a fighter and fought the entire time for her kids.
