On January 13, 1946, the Lord’s Day, in Chillicothe, Texas, a precious gift, Rosa Ann Jones, was bestowed upon Connell Roy and Ola Robinson. Rosa grew up in Chillicothe and attended school in Lubbock, TX. Rosa met her husband, Edgar Jones, in November 1959. They were married on March 12, 1961, and from that union were blessed with 5 children. Rosa dedicated the majority of her life to taking care of others. She worked in the hospitality field for over 40 years and retired in 2013. Rosa was a shining example of what a matriarch should be. She opened her home to all who were in need and leaned on her faith to guide her in raising her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. A steadfast prayer warrior, she remained a light no matter what the situation, and instilled the love of God into her family. In return for her faithfulness, God delivered her from many trials and tribulations, and allowed her to see 77 wonderful years of glory. Not only did she beat breast cancer two times over, but she also battled other health issues until the Lord saw fit to call her home on July 7, 2023.
