Robert was the family comedian and the life of any event that he attended, always trying to ensure everyone was happy or laughing. You never met Robert without a smile on his face, always cracking jokes & being funny; even his last days here with us while feeling unbearable pain, he wanted to make sure that his kids and everyone that came in contact was going to be alright; sharing encouraging words with you or just sharing the Love of the Lord with you that he had. He was the definition of a true fighter, he fought until there was no more fight left and the Lord gave him the much needed rest; rest our dear Father, brother, uncle, grandfather & all the other titles that you carried.. Robert, you were so caring even when you were in pain. You wanted to make sure everyone else was okay, the true meaning of love!!!!
A brother is a friend given by nature, and my brother may not always be by my side, but he was always in my heart. A brother is someone who knows when something is wrong, even if you have the biggest smile on your face. I smiled because you were my brother! I love you, Robert Ray Young Sr, Job well done, brother!
