Robert Charles Johnson "Puda", 29, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025. Celebration of life Service will be held Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at 1 pm at First Progressive Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the City of Lubbock under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitations will be held Tuesday, February 18, 2025, from 4 p.m to 6 p.m. at Griffin Mortuary. Robert Charles Johnson was born August 31, 1995, in Lubbock, TX to the parents of Diane & Robert James Johnson, Sr.

Robert attended Bozeman elementary school, & Alderson middle school. He was graduate of Estacado High school. He loved spending time with his family. Robert also loved sports, he was a fierce competitor, he participated in, football, ran track, & played baseball? He briefly attended college in Oklahoma. During his high school career Robert set and broke many records.

Robert was a gentle & humble young man. He was a devoted & loving father to his children whom he adored with all his heart. Every moment he spent with them was filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories. They were his greatest joy, and he enjoyed every moment with them.

He was also a cherished & beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, & a loyal & dedicated friend. Robert had a kind heart, a generous spirit, and a contagious smile that could light up any room. He never met a stranger. He touched the lives of many with his humor, warmth, and unwavering loyalty. He loved to play games & jokes on his family & friends. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion that will live on in our hearts forever.

Our lives will be forever changed without his presence & his love.

Robert is preceded in death by his father, Robert James Johnson Sr, grandfathers, Alvin James Johnson Sr & RC Willard.

Robert is survived by his mother, Diane Johnson, great-grandmother Marie C. Johnson, grandmother's, Evell Johnson & Barbara J. Sterling, siblings Funesha Paul, Dy'saniece Taylor, Aaliyah Johnson, Taitiana Anderson, Miesha D. Perryman Steven Parker, Robert J Johnson Jr, Tremaine Z. Perryman, Jeremiah Perryman, Rykeen Johnson, and Latron Perry, Fiánce, Sha Nora, & their children: Nyomi, Gianna, Messiah, Johnson & DaShae Davis. La Chaey Barnes & their children: Robert C. Jr, Emoni & Kaleah Johnson, Raenese Wilborn & their children: Ja’khyra James Johnson and Ja’khyia Deniese Johnson

Robert, we realize & recognize that you are only away from us, but a brief moment. We shall be with you again, because we believe in the Lord's written word,

John 11:25-26 "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die"

Revelation 21:4 "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away".
