Radavion Newsom

Ray Newsom, 48, US Navy Veteran departed this world to be with his Lord and Savior on October 28, 2024. Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, November 9th at 2 pm at New Life Pentecostal Church, Levelland TX. Private Disposition under the direction of Griffin Mortuary.

Ray was born October 15, 1976 to Dennis Ray Newsom and Linda Louise Newsom. He married his wife, Rachel Jolene Newsom on November 5th, 2004. He loved watching football and spending time with friends and family. He was loved and cherished by so many. He was the most amazing husband, father, son, grandad and brother. 

Ray was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Newsom; his daughter Ashley Peppers and by his grandson TC Peppers.

Ray leaves to cherish his memory; his wife, Rachel Jolene Newsom; his granddaughter, Brooklyn Peppers; his father, Dennis Newsom and his wife, Cheryl Newsom; his three younger brothers, Jaime Newsom, Jason Newsom and his wife Elisa Perez, and Jordan Newsom and his wife Mecale Newsom; his sons David Newsom and Eric Fox; his daughter Sara Newsom; his three grandsons Atreus, Kayden and Raymond; his nieces Alex Newsom, Aubrey Newsom, Harley Newsom, Peyton Newsom, and Abigail Newsom; his nephew Jude Newsom and a host of other relatives and friends.

 Ray was loved dearly by his friends but especially by his family. Even in the midst of his dark times, he was a rock to everybody and was “just a phone call away”, as he would say to us all. His generosity and love was shown in all he did. Until we meet again past the pearly gates. Love you
