Patricia Miller, 67 of Lubbock, departed this life on Sunday, June 18, 2023. Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, June 23, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Griffin Mortuary Chapel. Private Disposition under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia, a beloved mother, devoted and friend. She departed this world on June 18, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love, compassion, and joy. Born on May 14, 1956, Patricia graced this world with her presence and touched the lives of all who knew her. She was a beacon of light, always radiating warmth and kindness to everyone she encountered. Her nurturing nature and unwavering support were constants in the lives of her family and friends. Patricia Miller attended 1st Baptist Church in Brownfield, TX. Patricia had a church home wherever she moved to in Texas or California. Patricia was the type of mother; you could have fun with. She loved water slides and roller coasters. Her unconditional love and kindness will forever remain in our hearts. In her leisure time, Patricia loved playing softball and bowling. Whether it was watching cooking shows and becoming inspired to make delicious meals for her loved ones, she poured her heart and soul into everything she did. She had the biggest heart and would help a total stranger. Patricia leaves behind a legacy that will endure through the memories she created and the lives she touched. Though she may no longer be with us in person, her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those she loved and befriended. Friends, family, and all whose lives were touched by her are invited to join in honoring her memory. During this time of mourning, let us remember Patricia Miller as the extraordinary person she was. May her love and light continue to guide us and bring us comfort in the days ahead. Rest in peace, dear Patricia. Patricia is preceded in death by her mother, Lois Kirkendoll; husband, Larry Miller; grandson, Patrick L. Green; brothers, Johnny A. Kirkendoll and Jimmy A. Kirkendoll. Patricia leaves to cherish her memory; her daughter, LaShonna Kay Green; her son, Bernie Lee Green; her sisters, Sharon Kay Bean (Jr. Lee Bean); her grandchildren, Sean D. Patrick, William J. Huddleston, Evangelina Lopez, Bernice L. Green, Kaytlynn L. Green, and Emma J. Green; her great grandchildren, Sicari Kay Patrick, Sikai D. Patrick, Anthony E. Grajeda, and Nehemiah P. Green; her niece, Kristy D. Calloway; her nephew, Roy Mack Bean; a host of other relatives and friends.
