Mildred Faye Williams, 69, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, February 21, 2025, at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Morton, TX. Interment will follow at Morton Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Mildred Faye Williams was born in Morton, Texas on March 25, 1955 along with her twin Myra May Williams to Lottie Williams. She attended and graduated from Morton High School. She also attended South Plains College where she earned her CNA certification. Mildred had 3 children, Christopher Dean, Natalie Latrice, and Darren Deon Williams.
Mildred enjoyed spending time with her family, children, and her great grandchildren. She loved music, cooking, and talking on the phone with her sisters. She was always the life of the party. She loved to laugh and play dominoes. She also enjoyed spending time with her besties Belinda Johnson and JoAnne Joyce (Cuddy).
Mildred meant the world to all who knew her. She would always say “I love you first!,” to her family members after spending time together or talking on the phone. She was very close to her twin sister Myra, who she called “Maddie.” She missed Maddie dearly after her passing many years back. Finally, they are reunited! She is already greatly missed and will be forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Mildred is preceded in death by her mother Lottie Williams, her twin sister Myra May Williams, her brother Dwain Carl Williams, her nieces Tasha Williams, Yolanda Shepherd, and Autumn Lynch, and her nephew Joshua Williams.
Mildred is survived by her daughter Natalie Latrice Williams, her 2 sons Christopher Dean Williams and Darren Deon Williams, her sisters: Gail Woods (Mark), Sharon Robins, and Reena Johns (Jesse), her brothers Gilbert Williams, Michael Williams (Linda), Dale Williams, Aubrey Lynch, and Terry Lynch, her grandchildren Christopher Jr., Taven, and Kendrick Williams, Latasha and Anrierica Williams, and Brayshun Simmons, Darren Jr. and Destiny Williams, 17 great grandchildren, her nieces and nephews Gregory Earl and Tiffany Williams, Dannielle Williams, Gary and Cory Shepherd, and Michael Williams, Marcel Norris, Damien and Lorinda McCutchin, and Patricia Williams, Damark Woods, Ashley Williams and Shenika Henderson, Cedric Lynch, Shannon and Sherranda Robins, Dominque and Erica Lynch, Kenedi Lynch, Jesse (III) and Ja’Quese Johns, and a host of other relatives and friends.
