Michael Darrell Dade, Jr.

Michael Darrell Dade Jr aka Bubba, 21, departed this life Saturday, December 21, 2024. Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 1pm at Difference Makers Fellowship. Private Disposition under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitation will be held Friday, January 3, 2025, from 4pm to 6pm at Griffin Mortuary. Michael Darrell Dade, Jr. was born May 30, 2003, and he was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas. He attended Rise Academy for preschool and elementary years. He then went on to attend Estacado high school where he played on the football team and soon graduated from there in 2021.

After graduating from high school, Michael went on to help run the family business Perfect Gas and Go. In Michael's free time he sometimes made music videos, fished and did skateboarding But most of all he was an avid gamer.

Michael was a very well mannered young man, and a very gentle adult. He was truly a sweetheart. Anyone who knew him loved him; he was very kind and very given. He will give you the shirt off of his back. That's just how Michael was.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Della Dade Showers.

Michael leaves to mourn and cherish his memory, his beloved mother Amy Dade and his father Michael Dade Sr. Michael also leaves his siblings with whom he was very close with and loved dearly his brother Datrion Dade and his sisters De'azsha Dade and Sky Brown (Houston). Michael has two nephews Jakavyn Jones and Damarion Dade and one niece Perfect Hutchins and a host of relatives and friends.
