Marshone Sheppard

Marshone D. Sheppard, 37, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024. Celebration of life Service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, April 8, 2024 at Lakeridge Methodist Church. Interment will follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitations will be held Sunday, April 7, 2024, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Griffin Mortuary. Marshone Sheppard was born December 30, 1986, in Lubbock, TX to Tommy and Shedina Hodge. He graduated from Monterey High School in 2004. After high school, he put his time and effort into becoming an entrepreneur in painting and selling cars. Marshone Sheppard was passionate and talented in painting cars, he was committed to making a change and better lifestyle for his family and friends. He was a family man that would give the shirt off his back.

Marshone is preceded in death by his uncle Michael Sheppard, nephew Nicholas Hodge, Jr., grandmothers Modeina Robinson, Marie Hodge, and Cindy Foster, grandfather Johnny Lee Hodge.

Marshone leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife Shamekia Thomas, father Tommy Hodge, mother Shedina Sheppard, grandparents Mary and George Stevens, his daughter Markiya Sheppard, son Marshone Sheppard, Jr., sisters Ebony Hodge and Tomdria Hodge, brothers Markell Sheppard, Antoine Sheppard, Marquis Sheppard, Toriano Hodge, Nicholas Hodge, and Tarmar Patton, his nine nieces, seven nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
