Marin "Piggy" Olmos

Marin “Piggy” Olmos, 79, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 21, 2024, after a lengthy illness. Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at 11 am at Iglesia Bautisista Nuveo Nascimento. Private Disposition under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. He was born July 2, 1945, in Meadow, Texas to Luis and Lupe Olmos. 

 Piggy enjoyed his cowboy movies and flying planes. He had such a great sense of humor and there were never a dull moment with him. He was a very loving grandfather and great grandfather who will be deeply missed by all.

 Marin is preceded in death by his mother Guadalupe Olmos, his father Luis Olmos, his three brothers Luis Olmos, Jr., Robert Olmos, and Sam Olmos.

 Those left to cherish his memory are his four sons Larry Ponce, Oscar Marin Olmos, Marin Olmos, Jr., and Jacob Marin, his six daughters Cathy Perez, Danielle, KoKo, Frannie, Elexis Gonzales, and Trinity Ponce, his seven grandchildren Elijah, Erin, Olivia, Christopher, Anissa, Nathaniel, and Thomas Ponce, his nine great-grandchildren, his loving companion of 39 years Janie Olmos, his sister Mary Olmos, his four brothers Pete Olmos, Esteban Olmos, Tony Olmos, and Danny Olmos, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
