Lloyd P. Christman, Sr., 67, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2024. Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 11 am at New Hope Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitations will be held Friday, September 27, 2024, from 4pm to 6pm at Griffin Mortuary. Born on January 13, 1957, Lloyd lived a life of integrity, compassion, and joy. He touched the lives of many with his kindness and wisdom, leaving behind a profound impact on his family and friends.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. Lloyd always placed the needs of others before his own. His unconditional love and unwavering support brought comfort to those around him, and his warm smile could brighten anyone’s day.
He lived a life of simplicity, finding joy in the little things and cherishing the moments spent with loved ones. Whether he was telling captivating stories of his life or offering advice, he had a way of making everyone feel valued and heard.
Lloyd leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and cherished memories that will be carried in the hearts of those he leaves behind. Though Lloyd may no longer be with us in the physical sense, the impact he made on our lives will forever remain. May he rest in eternal peace.
Lloyd is preceded in death by his mother Ida Bell Brinson.
Lloyd leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife Annie Christman, his daughter Tasha Thomas of Lubbock, Texas, his sons Lloyd P. Christman, Jr. (Marcela) of Lubbock, Texas, Jamel christman of Houston, Texas, and Tranard Richardson also of Lubbock, Texas, his sisters Gwen Taylor (Robert) of Lubbock, Texas and Marilyn McEachin of Tyler, Texas, his brother Leonard Burns (Karen) of Nuremberg, Germany, his grandchildren Ziayr, Zander, London, Tydrick, TaKyrie, Tranard, Jr., Taborick, Trianna, Tranaiya, Trinity, Truking, and Cordell his great-grandchildren Trinley Lazay, Tranard, III, Tamani Loriella, Tramir Legit, Iyonnie Denise, Traycen Lavar, Trayveion, Tamir, Trydrick, Jr., and Tazyrie, and a host of other relatives and friends.
