Lillian Roberts

Lillian Roberts, 89, passed away on Friday, January 10th, 2025. Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, January 24th, 2025 at 11 am at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Ralls cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. 

Lillian Roberts was the 2nd child born to Clarence Coleman and Sara Jo Coleman on January 30th, 1935. She was a lifelong member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. She served as a choir member, usher, sunday school, and donated her time and commitment to helping others. Her faith in God was evident through the fruits of the spirit with love, joy, and patience throughout her entire lifetime. Lillian Roberts’ legacy will live on through her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many others throughout the community, who will always remember her as the pillar of the family and a 2nd mother. Her tireless dedication to her loving husband and family is a beautiful example of what a Christian women of God should be.

She is preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Sara Jo Coleman; brothers Clarence Coleman Jr., Uncle Gelly Coleman; husband, AJ Roberts; daughter, Carolyn Hart, and son Ronnie Lee Roberts

She leaves to cherish her memory; her sons AJ Roberts Jr, Bobby Roberts, Raymond Roberts, Pleze Roberts, and Timothy Roberts; her daughters Eva Roberts, Evie Hudson, Pamela Roberts Tucker, and Reenea Compton; son-in-law Preston Tucker and Willman Compton; daughter-in-law Barbara Huey and Diana Guzman; 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, and a host of relatives, family and friends.
