Latreshia Shamon Mackey

Latreshia “Shamon” Mackey, 44, of Texas passed away Friday, December 1st, 2023, in her home. Visitations will be held Saturday, December 9th, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Griffin Mortuary. Celebration of Life Service will follow at 1 p.m. Private Disposition under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. She was a devoted daughter, sister, granddaughter, great-granddaughter, and friend to everyone that knew and loved her. She was born on April 3, 1979, to Brenda Hardrick and Rickey McNeal. Everyone that knew her, knows she didn’t like a lot of people. If you knew one that about Shamon she wasn’t flashy but still wanted to be cute, comfy, and very Miss Independent.  In life, Shamon was a beautiful, smart, and reserved person, who loved to read and play dominoes on her apps, she had many goals, some she achieved others she was still pursuing.  Although reserved, she would speak her mind and you could always tell when Shamon didn’t want to be bothered or was annoyed by an intentional or unintentional facial expression that was unmistakable. Our beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, and friend gone too soon. You will never be forgotten and will live in us always.
Latreshia leaves to cherish her memory; her mother, Brenda Hardrick; father, Rickey McNeal;stepfather, Anthony Hardrick; grandmother, Opal Robinson; great grandmother, Maraget Robinson; sisters, Keiambra Hardrick, Taneisha McCutchin, and Shakesha McCutchin; brothers, Tayvin Hardrick, LaTremont McCutchin, Rickey McCutchin, Tabardrick McNeal, and Jeremiah McNeal; a host of other relatives and friends.
