Lashell Nolan

Lashell Nolan, 57,  departed this life on earth on Thursday, January 16th, 2025. Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, January 24th, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Greater New Hope Baptist Church, Brownfield. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Brownfield, under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. It is said when life begins, it is like an open book with many blank pages. Each Day as we live, our deeds are recorded page by page until we close our eyes in death and await that great getting up morning.

The book of life opened on Oct 13th 1967 in Brownfield. TX for Lashell Nolan born to Pankie Mae Nolan and Willie Lee Nolan of Brownfield TX, she attended public school in Brownfield TX, She united at Church of Christ at an early age She enjoyed being with family and friends listening to music and dancing. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; Pankie Mae and Willie Lee Nolan, Brothers Bobby Lavern Nolan, Willie Lee Nolan. Jr, Willie Earl Nolan, Sisters Mary Anne Nolan, Betty Sue Reed.

She leaves to cherish her memory, The love of her life Fate Dotson of Brownfield, TX, one daughter Lametra Nolan, daughter in law Jessica Martinez, two sons Alvirtis Smith, Jr. and Ricky Nolan of Brownfield, TX, four brothers James (Michelle) Nolan, Kevin (Christine) Nolan, Larry (Mesha) Nolan, Jerry Nolan, fours sisters Margie Jackson, Carvie Roach, Frances (Curtis) Johnson, Glenda (Donald) Dotson, four grandsons, Trevon Green, Pramel Smith, Jayvien McCoy, Ricky Nolan. Jr, four granddaughters Diamberly Daniel, Nariah Garcia, Ivyona Smith, Keyona Nolan and a great Aunt Beartha Davis, The father of her children Alvirtis Smith and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
