Kor'Darion James Daniels

Kor'Darion James Daniels, 17 months, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024. Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 12 noon at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Kor’Darion James Daniels was born August 10, 2022, to the parentage of LaDarion and Alexus Daniels in Lubbock, TX. “Kord” as he was called by the family, loved to dance and play with his siblings. His laughter was unique and everyone loved to be around him. Watching “Gunsmoke” with his great grandfather who called him “Chocolate drop”, was something he enjoyed. “Kord” impacted so many lives during his short time on earth, and he knew he was loved by many. No matter what kind of day, anyone was having, when “Kord” came around, just. That smile and those eyes, brighten up your day. Our family was blessed with the time we had with him and he will be missed. He was truly a “mama’s boy” but was his daddy’s best friend. “Kord” is preceded in death by his sister Kaliyah Daniels, grandfathers James Durham and Jarryl Daniels, great grandmother Emma Daniels, and great grandfather Richard Giddings. “Kord” leaves to cherish his memory, his parents LaDarion and Alexus Daniels, grandparents Tammy Durham, Linda Porras, Don & Chanelle Smiley, great grandparents Victor and Diana Porras, and Maggie Bunton, sister Mileah Luna, brothers Zir’Ray Reeves and Albert Maldonado, uncles Jimmy McGaha, Cepten Howard, DeMarcus McGaha, Keshawn Hunter, Dae’tron Johnson, Deiondre Smiley, Dominique Robinson, and Khalil Smiley, aunts Tamesha Scott, Kei’Ana Howard, Joniah Hardeman, Jonae Hardeman, and Tataneshaa Flemming, a host of other relatives and friends.
