Mr. Kenneth Ray Mask, 63, passed away on Tuesday, January 14th, 2025. Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, January 31st, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Griffin Mortuary Chapel. Private Disposition will follow under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Kenneth Ray Mask was born on September 13, 1961, to the parents, Mr. Eugene and Georgetta Mask. He grew up in Slaton, Texas, where he graduated from Slaton High School in 1981. Shortly after, Kenneth served his country with honor in the U.S. Army from 1981 to 1983. In his lifetime, Kenneth married Nina, and together they were blessed with three children: Kenneth Ray Jr., Tabora, and Nick. He was also a father to two older sons, Lance and Sam. Kenneth found joy in many aspects of life.
He had a passion for cooking, and his fried chicken was a favorite among family and friends. His warm personality and great sense of humor made him a delight to be around, and he had a special way of making others laugh and feel loved. He was a skilled truck driver who took pride in his work and also served as a compassionate caregiver for the elderly. Kenneth deeply valued his relationships with his family, friends, nieces, and nephews, always bringing light and laughter into their lives.
Kenneth leaves behind cherished memories with his children: Kenneth Ray Jr., Tabora, Nick, Lance, and Sam; his siblings: Wanda, Priscilla, Shelia, and Joel Mask; four beloved grandchildren; one precious great-granddaughter; and a host of extended family and friends who will forever treasure his loving spirit.
