Juanita Ortega, 74, was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a true matriarch and loved by all. She taught us all how to be strong and was there any time you needed her. She was a granny to all. She attended Friendship Holy Baptist Church for years. She loved to cook and was devoted member. Juanita always enjoyed shopping and a good restaurant most of all, Juanita was a boss. Juanita’s hobbies a shopper at Walmart where she was known as Ms. International shopper because everywhere she went, she had to visit a Walmart. Juanita was born on April 26, 1948, to Juan Santana and Leonor Rivera. She is preceded in death by her parents, Juan Santana and Leonor Rivera; sister, Mary Helen Sertuche; brothers George Santana and Juan Santana, Jr.; granddaughter, Linda Marie Sanchez; grandson, Jesse A. Holguin; and son-in-law, Doming R. Sanchez. She leaves to cherish her memory; daughters, Patricia Paz, Linda Sanchez, Maria Morales, and Monica Santana; son, Albert Sertuche; sisters, Guadalupe Ortega and Francisca Alvarado; brother, Antonio Santana; sixteen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
