Jessica Ann Mackey, 44, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2024, in Houston, TX. Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, July 5, 2024, at 11 a.m. at United Family Fellowship, Brownfield, TX. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Brownfield, TX under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitations will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2024, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Griffin Mortuary. Jessica Ann Mackey was born on September 6, 1979, to Georgia Ann Mackey and David Lee Fulbright in Brownfield, TX, where she attended Brownfield High School and graduated in 1998.
Jessica was a loving mother to one daughter, Tyja Nae Mackey, whom she loved dearly.
Jessica was an outspoken person, to know her was to love her. She touched so many hearts, loved so many. Jessica loves to laugh and talk LOUD. Her smile would light up a room, her voice could be heard from miles away, literally. She lived life to the fullest, loving, caring, and living her best life. Jessica was a loving grandmother to 2 boys. She was an aunt to so many and a friend to all. She enjoyed cooking and being around family. She accepted those for who they were, she always made others feel welcomed. A kindhearted person with a very fly mouth (101).
Jessica is preceded in death by her father David Fulbright, grandfather George Heights, grandmothers Lula Mae Washington, and Daisy Mae Finnenly, great-grandmother Ola Mae Butler.
Jessica leaves behind to cherish her memory, her mother Georgia Ann Mackey, her daughter Tyjanae Mackey, her sister Nedra Mackey, special cousins Melissa Coe and Shience Humphrey, brothers Marcus Mackey (Tat) and Nathaniel Mackey, grandchildren JaVondrick Pollard, Jr. and Karson Harrison, nephews Kameron Mackey and Taydence Bean, a host of nieces, other relatives, and friends.
