Jerry Adams, Sr.

Jerry Adams, Sr., 68, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2024. Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 1 p.m. at House of Prayer. Private Disposition will follow under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Jerry Adams, Sr. was born on July 27, 1955, to Charles and Maudie Adams in Lubbock, TX. He attended school in Lubbock, TX. Throughout the years he lived in Denver, Colorado, and California. He worked as a car salesman, then he became a game room attendant which he loved until his health started to decline. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed hanging out with family and friends. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Maudie Adams, daughter Cherry Kohler, granddaughter Zayla Heads, grandson Richard Corum, III, and sister Diane Adams. Jerry leaves to cherish his memory; his daughters LaKeshia Heads, Dominique Adams, Mary Adams, and Jennifer Powell, his sons Jerry Adams and Terrian Adams, Sr., his sister Brenda Kay Adams, his brothers Ray Adams, Billie Adams, Charles Adams, Sr., Skip Adams, and Eddie Lee Adams, his grandchildren Z’Keyah Jackson, Leilani Johnson, Z’Laijah Duncan, Zaraji Duncan, Deziia Adams, Camilla Adams, Mersaydeez Corum,Terrian Adams, Jr., King Dominic Adams, and Jashai Adams, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
