Jaquenta Darnae Anderson

Jaquenta Darnae Anderson, 40, passed away on Sunday, March 16th, 2025. Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, April 3rd, 2025, at 1 p.m. at the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 2, 2025, from 4pm to 6pm at Griffin Mortuary. Jaquenta “Nae” Anderson was born on July 1st, 1984. I don’t know why it happened. No reason could suffice, but those who’ve served their purpose are called to paradise. To us it seems so senseless, but God he had a plan. We’ll never understand it for that’s the curse of man, its faith we must hold on to that’s how our spirits grow. Even though we miss her we’ve got to let her go. She’ll always be here with us no matter where we roam. So cherished and remembered in our hearts, she’s home. She’d want us to be happy, to live, laugh, and love. She knows we won’t forget her, she’s watering from above, proudly we shall speak her name and sweetly reminisce, share the stories of her life, then send her up a kiss.

She is preceded in death by her mother Brenda Anderson, her grandmother Velma Anderson, and her grandfather Cari Anderson.

She leaves to cherish her memory her mother-in-law Margaret Stiefel, her daughters Lakiviaunna Anderson, Breazia McDowell, and Ja’Niyah Anderson, her sons Jamikael Taylor, Jakyri Anderson, and Ja’Ryan McGaha, her sisters Arkie Anderson, Lotoya Collins, Michelle Taylor, and Jessica Taylor, her brothers Shaun Anderson, Phillip Anderson, Kendrick Taylor, and Jerome “JB” Bates, her nieces Shia Green, Jariyah Bates, Bredai Flores, J’Zelle Flores, and Mallory Anderson, her nephews Bodrick Green, Kentavion Taylor, Kameron Anderson, Mikeal Anderson, and Jerome “JD” Bates, and a host of other relatives and friends.
