James Earl Baker

James Earl Baker, 84, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2024. Visitations will be held Saturday, July 27, 2024 , from 3 PM to 4 PM at Griffin Mortuary Chapel. Private Disposition will follow under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. James Earl Baker was born on December 14, 1939 to Will and Maggie Baker in Marlin, TX. He was the fourth child of eight siblings.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, J. B., Pinkie Etta, Willie Lee, Ozella, and Charles Baker.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his sister, Bettie Baker Quigley (James), nieces Cynthia Johnson (Edward), Janice Fulcher, Charlotte Harkey (David), Shirley Davis, and Cassandra Lawrence (Robert), nephews Danny, Ronald, Kervin, Tony Gibbs, Kenneth Baker(Jackie), Kent Baker (Darlene) of Arlington, TX, great nieces Erica Titues of Katy, TX and Brandi Evans of Lubbock, TX, great nephews Eric Titues and Demodrick Johnson both of Ft. Worth, TX, Darrick, Da’Rail and Datron all of Ft. Worth, Broderick Heath and Tremaine Heath both of Lubbock, TX, and Julius Williams of Arlington, TX, and a host of other relatives and friends.
