Elizabeth Laura Ann Jefferson DeVaughn

Elizabeth Laura Ann Jefferson DeVaughn "Punkin" passed away peacefully on Sunday June 16th, 2024, in Lubbock, TX. Celebration of Life Services will be held Monday, July 1st, 2024, at 2 p.m. at The Worship Center (South). Private Disposition under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitations will be held Sunday, June 30th, 2024, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Griffin Mortuary. She was born October 23rd, 1958, in Waco, TX to Vera and Morris Jefferson. She was a graduate of Sudan High School. She married Floyd (Skip) DeVaughn on October 30th, 2004, in Littlefield TX. Liz gave her life to Christ at a young age where she was a member at Mt Olive Baptist church in Sudan, TX and then later became a member at New Mt Olive Baptist Church in Littlefield, TX. 

 Liz loved spending time with her family, grandchildren, shopping, playing bingo and watching wrestling.

 Liz is preceded in death by her parents Vera and Morris Jefferson, her brothers Earnest Jefferson, James Miller and Harry Jefferson. 

 She is survived by her husband Floyd DeVaughn, daughter Keena DeVaughn, her sons Michael Jefferson (Ronda), Mackie Washington Jr (Jessica) and her stepson Quincy DeVaughn, her brothers Morris Jefferson Jr (Sherine), Charlie Jefferson (Judy), Dale Ray Jefferson (Sandra), Henry James, and sisters, Marla Dawkins (Joe Dale) and JoAnn Heyd (Roy), her grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
