Edward Luna

Edward Luna, 37 of Lubbock, TX, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024. Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Encounter Grace Church. Interment will follow at Peaceful Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitations will be held Monday, April 8, 2024, at Griffin Mortuary from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Edward was born on March 9, 1987, to Margarita Luna. Many families and friends knew him as “Grizzly”. Grizzly was always happy, smiling, and ready to be the center of the party. He loved to dance even though he needed dance lessons. He was always telling jokes, clowning on all his family. He was our Grizzly Bear but wasn’t harmful, just full of love.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather Jesus Ybarra Luna, and grandmother Julia Botello Luna.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his stepfather Arturo Narvais, his mother Margarita Luna Narvais, son Edward Lee Luna, Jr., sisters Melissa Narvais, Marissa Narvais, Alyissa Narvais, and Marissa Winters, brothers Antione Sims, and Arturo Narvais, Jr., nieces Julia Narvais, Nova Narvais, and Janiah Sims, nephews Elijah Sims, Isiaiah Sims, and Yishmael Narvais, a host of other relatives and friends.

We wish there was a proper way to say goodbye. Now all we have left are cherished memories of you. We will forever love and miss you.
