David Lashone Nicholson Germon

David Lashone Nicholson Germon, 57, departed this life on Sunday, May 21, 2023. Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, June 3, 2023, at 1 p.m. at Griffin Mortuary Chapel. Private Disposition under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. David entered this life on April 8, 1966, in Chicago, Il. to David L. Germon and Shirley J. Germon. He was baptized at an early age at Greater Lincoln Park Temple in San Antonio, Texas. He attended Boseman Elementary School, Alderson Middle School and went on to Estacado High School. David had several talents and skills, which included his love for cooking, caregiving, decorating, music, and especially his love for art.
He continued to be full of life and never allowed his circumstances to change the man he was. He made it his mission to be the best father, brother, son, and friend. He loved everyone in one way or another regardless of the good or bad times he had with you. His presence will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Jean Germon and father, David Lee Germon; his grandparents, Prophetess Gladys Howard and Arlester Rollins; four uncles, three aunts, and several cousins.
He leaves to mourn his sister, Sherrie Nicholson Germon Walton, his brother, Raymond Wardell Germon (wife-Beverly); his aunts, Robbie Drain, Linda Jackson-Atchison (Robert), Lola Sutton (Nash), Verda Cannady (Taylor); uncles, Virgil Howard (Pam), and Louis Alexander, Jr. (Susan); stepdaughter, Kayla L. Brown; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
