Dave's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with threads of passion, integrity, and meticulous care. His favorite song, Frank Sinatra's "I Did It My Way," mirrored the essence of his character—a man who lived life on his own terms, with courage and conviction. His meticulous nature was not just a trait but a guiding principle that he instilled in every endeavor he undertook, be it as an educator, AAU basketball coach, a security guard at APEX event center.
Dave's journey took him from the shores of Jamaica to the heart of Texas, where he attended Frank Phillips College on a basketball scholarship. His influence extended far beyond the classroom, touching the lives of countless students who were fortunate enough to cross his path.
In addition to his roles in education and athletics, Dave dedicated over eleven years of his life to serving as a law enforcement officer for various school districts. His commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of students and staff was unwavering. He approached his duties with the same meticulous care and integrity that defined every aspect of his life, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues and community members alike.
