Darin Wayne Shedd

Darin Wayne Shedd, 55 of Petersburg, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023. Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, April 28, 2023, at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Petersburg, TX. Interment will follow at Petersburg Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Viewing will be held Thursday, April 27, 2023, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Griffin Mortuary. Darin Wayne Shedd was born on April 16th, 1968, in Lubbock, Texas to Edward and Nancy Shedd. He lived in Petersburg, Texas where he was married to Diane Salas for 29 years and two daughters were born to this union, and they were his everything. Darin was a hard-working man and some of the things he loved to do was watching his Pittsburgh Steelers play football, he loved to listen to his old school blues music, loved to BBQ, work around the house, go to drag races, and enjoy his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Edward William Shedd; grandmother, Freddie Bell Cooper; grandfather, R.C. Cooper; and sister, Deborah Shedd. He leaves to cherish his memory; his wife, Diane Salas; his mother, Nancy Lee Shedd; his two daughters, Britney Shedd and Jazlyn Shedd; his sisters, Angela Shedd-Capurso (John Capurso), Rita Ann Shedd-Essix (Edward Essix), Wanda Shedd, and Charlotte Shedd; his brother, Edward Shedd, Jr.; his grandchildren, Amari Clark and Elias Clark; nine nieces, twelve nephews, a football field of great nieces and nephews; a host of other relatives and friends.
