Cassandra Jean Ivory, 63, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Community Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Peaceful Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitations will be held Tuesday, March 11, 2025, from 4 pm to 6 pm at Griffin Mortuary. Cassandra Jean Ivory was born on April 25, 1961 to the parentage of Dorothy and Artis Lee Parrish. Born and raised in Lubbock, TX. She was a devoted mother, wife, daughter, sister, and grandmother. Graduating from Estacado High School. She went on to become a nurse (LVN) in 1990 with the love for helping others. While pursuing her dreams she was blessed with 3 amazing children, Shetedria, Elicia, and Bryson. She devoted her love, life, discipline, and love of Christ to her children, grandchildren, and all of those around her. She accepted Christ at an early age and was amember of St. John Baptist Church, before becoming a member of Community Baptist Church until God called her home on March 5, 2025. She loved with a heart so big, she was there for everyone that ever called on her. Her legacy will live on through her children and all that she touched.

Cassandra Jean Ivory is preceded in death by her father Artis Lee Parrish, her brother Darrell Parrish, and her brother-in-law Jimmie Hollie.

Cassandra Jean Ivory leaves behind to her cherish her husband Freddie Ivory, her mother Dorothy Parrish, her daughters Shetedria Hicks (Isaac) and Elicia Salinas, her son Bryson Parrish (Andrea), her sisters Cheryl McDonald, Joann Hollie, Diane Snell, Michelle Murphy, Debra Parrish, and Brandi Walker, her brothers Robert Parrish (Sherrill), damon Parrish (Donna), Michael Parrish, Artis Parish (Dana), and Ardie Taylor her grandchildren Steven Saenz, Jayton Farrell, Alexis Salinas, Kristina Salinas, Dominic Parrish, Brianna Parrish, Cassidy Salinas, and Bryson Parrish, Jr., and Andre Parrish, special uncle Danny Mayes, her great-grandchildren Lili Saenz, Willow Saenz, Maddi Whitfield, Mariah Salinas, and Camila Saenz, and a host of other relatives and friends.
