Casper was born at Lubbock General Hospital at noon on March 11, 1986 to Angela Martinez of Lubbock, Texas. Casper was a happy and rambunctious child who loved his family wholeheartedly and was a joy to have around. Casper attended Harwell Elementary, Hutchinson, and Cavazos Junior High, and Lubbock High School before studying Criminal Justice from Howard University.

Casper was a natural people's person and made lifelong friends wherever he went. Among the many special people he had the pleasure to meet, He has been practically inseparable from Miguel for nearly 25 years. through thick and thin, they had a bond like no other and became brothers. Miguel's family adopted Cas as one of their own and he quickly became Mrs. Rey's 5th son.

Cas had many memorable jobs throughout his 38 years but often reminisced on his time at University Medical Center as a surgical assistant. It was during this time he met a new best friend, Crystal, who would become the mother of his child. His absolute favorite job arrived early in December 2016: Fatherhood his mini-me Corbin Ray was challenging in every sense of the word and although he was terrified, Cas tried his hardest to keep calm and created a special bond with his son. Football has always been a passion for Cas. He had a dream of becoming a coach and would light up when sharing memories and he always looked forward to each season of Tech football which in recent years stretched on to becoming a die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan (by way of Mahomes).

Casper was a private individual, particularly regarding his personal challenges and his journey toward wellness. He bravely embraced the support of therapy, medication, and the community of AA in recent years. Finding strength in opening up about his experiences. With heartfelt intent, Casper created several videos for his son, sharing personal reflections and expressing his hopes for him to learn from his life's lessons. He forged meaningful connections with many through his participation in AA meetings, rehabilitation, and detox programs. Casper came to recognize his struggles as part of a disease that can be profoundly difficult to navigate. He often encouraged others to persevere, maintain faith, and keep striving, reminding us all that though no one is perfect, everyone deserves the chance to live fully and to be loved.

Casprer is preceded in death by his grandfather Trinidad Martinez, his granny Pants Dominga Martiinez, his uncle Cool J., his little grandma Dominga Rangel, and his best friend Adrian Rey.

Casper is survived by his mother Angela Martinez, his brother Justin Bauder, nieces Jordan Bauder and Alaine Bauder, his best friend Crystal Coulombe and their son Corbin Martinez, his aunt Wendy Garcia (Alfonso), cousins Vanessa Dominguez, Tiffany Garcia, and Angel Garcia, his uncle Steven Martinez, his cousins Mariah Martinez, Zachary Martinez, and Justin Martinez, and.many, many loved ones and friends.
