Billie Bob Nichols

Billie Bob Nichols, 83, passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2024. Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Church of the Nation by Minister Hezzie Nichols. Private Disposition under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Billie Bob Nichols, a devout Jehovah’s Witness, departed this life on Tuesday, July 2nd, 2024. She was 83 years old.

 A native of Lubbock, Texas she was born July 19th,1940 to the late Cleopatra Patterson and Leonard Hereford. She attended Dunbar High School where she studied Home Economics and was an avid lover of poodles. She later married the late Rayford Nichols, also of Lubbock,Texas, in 1960. Together they would welcome seven children to the world. Of which, Herman Ray Nichols, preceded her in death.

 She was also preceded in death by her sister Lynn Bracy. Billie leaves to cherish her memory 2 sisters: Ruth Vevacruz and Coquese Cooper, 2 brothersL Arnett Bracy and Alvin Bracy, 6 Children: Rayford Nichols, Lonnie Nichols, Ranell Nichols Alake, Bobbie Bruce, Carlray Nichols and Hezzie Nichols, 18 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
