Benny B. Marshall

Benny B. Marshall, 68, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023. Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, November 6, 2023 at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Hale Center. Interment will follow at Hale Center Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitations will be held Sunday, November 5, 2023, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Griffin Mortuary. Benny B. Marshall was born on April 14, 1955, to the parentage of Atte Jones Marshall and John Henry Marshall. Benny is preceded in death by his parents, Attee Jones Marshall and John Henry Marshall; siblings, Virgil Young, William Mosley, Mary Johnson, Blakey Young, Onia Faye Marshall, Georgia Mae Hoppkins; and Earnest Lee Marshall; and grandson, Kenneth Brooks, Jr.; 
Benny leaves to cherish his memory; his 1st wife, Carolyn Belth of Abernathy; wife, Diana Jackson Marshall; daughters, Robin Mitchell Marshall of Lubbock, TX; Twyla Delanie Hines of Plainview, TX; sons, Garland Jerome Lane and Jeff Lashun Lane both of Lubbock, TX; sisters, Mary Dawkins of Ashdown, Arkansas; brothers, John Marshall, Jr. (Stephnie) of Lubbock, TX; Larry Marshall, Charles Marshall (Jessica) of Savannah, GA; and Johnie Marshall (Monica) also of Lubbock, TX; 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
