Beatrice Marie Perryman

Beatrice Marie "Bea" Perryman, 70, departed from this life July 5, 2024, after a lengthy illness. “To depart from this life is to be present with our Lord and Savior.” Celebration of LIfe Service will be held Thursday, July 18, 2024, at 1 p.m. at Word of Truth. Interment will follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitations will be held Wednesday, July 17, 2024, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Griffin Mortuary. 

Beatrice “Bea” was raised in Brenham and Fort Worth, Texas before settling in Lubbock,Texas. Beatrice “Bea” worked for Star Care (formerly MHMR) for many years before moving back to Fort Worth to care for her mother, Mrs. Millie Williams. Once “Bea” returned back to Lubbock, She enjoyed the simple pleasure of life with her family and friends. Her personality was contagious to everyone she met.

 Beatrice is preceded in death by her father Moses Williams, her mother Millie Marie Williams, and stepfather Robert “Bob” Fulcher.

She is survived by her children Kimberly D. Perryman, Jermaine Perryman, and Tamasha D. Perryman. Bea also leaves behind her grandchildren Miesha D. Perryman, Tremaine Z. Perryman, Cam Ron “Ty” Perryman, Ty’Queasha N. Perryman, Mr. Glasses Onyx Perryman, and Kelvondre Glaspie, one great-granddaughter Nyomi Perryman, cousins Carl Love, Sr. and Ray Dobbs, Jr., both of Houston, TX, Fannie Kemp and daughter of Brenham, TX, and a host of other relatives and friends.
