Aaliyah Ti'sha Traylor

Aaliyah Ti'sha Traylor passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at home. Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, January 3, 2025, at 1 pm at Greater Work. Interment will follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitations will be held Thursday, January 2, 2025 at Griffin Mortuary from 4 pm to 6 pm.

She was born on February 13, 1998, to Latoya Swanger and Aaron Traylor, Sr. 

Aaliyah Traylor was a Lubbock native, where she attended Estacado High School and later Vogue Cosmetology. Styling hair always brought her great joy and was very good at it. Aaliyah was a quiet person but very outspoken if the need ansed. She was a very sweet person, who loved her family drealy especially her children. Aaliyah had a very funny sense of humor and was a great cook. She is even known by the family as the best gravy maker.

She is preceded in death by her sister Kewanna Tillman, her grandfather Ricky Swanger, her great cousin Cindy Foster, her great great mother Odessa Jones, her grandmother Betty Knox, her uncle Tommy Jeffery, and her great great aunt Lula Mae Jones.

She leaves to cherish her memory her common-law husband Adrean Boyd, her father Aaron Traylor, her mother Latoya Swanger, her grandparents Beverly Robinson, Bobby Joe Robinson, and Annette Smith. Her daughters Julianna Green, ZauRryah Green, D’Lurica Jeffery, and ZaLaya Boyd, her sons Zimmer Boyd and Kinston Boyd, her sisters Keinaisha Tillman, MaKarrae Brown, Shun, Quies Brown, Carma Howard, Riyanah Session, A’miracle Traylor, and Ayi'ana Traylor, her brother Aaron Traylor, Jr., and Alijah Traylor, her niece Kailaya Carr, her nephews Ma’Zavian Terell, E’Saii Mclin, and a host of other relatives and friends she loved dearly.
